Baku City Tour

Today after breakfast you meet your guide and driver at the hotel and set out to explore the remarkable city of Baku.

During the tour you visit Memory Alley, enjoy panoramic views of Baku from the Upland Park and explore historical district of Old Baku with its famous Maiden Tower, the Complex of Shirvanshahs Palace, medieval Caravanserai and central Markets square.

After Baku sightseeing you leave the city for Gobustan National Park, a famous sight located on a hill in the southeast end of the Greater Caucasus mountain ridge. Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape with its huge collection of rock engravings is one of the 2 sights in Azerbaijan inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List.

You also make an inside visit to Gobustan Museum, also known as the Petroglyph for displaying the drawings on the rock by primitive inhabitants. Here you find the amazing evidence of the past: rock paintings, caves – sites of ancient people and objects of material culture. More than four thousand rock engravings are preserved in Gobustan depicting people, animals, labor scenes, collective hunting, and dancing.

After a busy yet exciting day, you are transferred to the hotel for overnight.

During the tour you visit to the Palace of Sheki Khans, a former summer residence of khans. This amazing sight was constructed in the 18th century without a single nail. You also get to explore the breathtaking Sheki Castle, which with its long and very thick walls was used for the safeguarding of the town and as a place for local celebrations.

Tour to Kakheti Region & Wine Tastings

Following breakfast at the hotel you meet with your guide and driver and set out for another exciting day exploring Georgia.

The first stunning stop of the day is Signagi - one of the tiniest cities in Georgia. When it comes to tourist attractions, the "City of Love" (as Signagi is often called) can take your breath away with its picturesque landscapes, charming narrow cobbled streets and pastel houses located in the heart of wine-growing regions. During the Signagi tour you visit Bodbe Monastery, which was built in the 9th century and now functions as a nunnery. The refreshing gardens and fascinating basilica hint you the history behind the famous landmark as it was used as a coronation venue by the Kings of Kakheti.

Your second stop of the day is Tsinandali, a historic Georgian village which is home to the first winery in the county. Here you discover more about the regional wine in the Shumi winery.

After the visit you are transferred back to your hotel in Tbilisi.

Tbilisi City Tour

Following breakfast you meet with your guide and driver at the hotel and go on an unforgettable Tbilisi city tour. You start with a visit to the historical city district Metekhi, where you see the famous Metekhi Cathedral built in the 13th century and located on a picturesque cliff that offers magnificent panoramic views of Tbilisi over the river Mtkvari.

Then you ride a cable car to the ancient Tbilisi landmark that existed even before the city itself, the Narikala Fortress, also called the mother fortress of Tbilisi, and take a walk around its enormous walls feeling the history of this unique place.

Another highlight of the tour is a ride with a funicular up to the holy mountain Mtatsminda, with amazing views of Georgia's capital and nature.

You then continue to explore famous Tbilisi landmarks including Anchiskhati, Bridge of Peace, the district of sulfur baths as well as wander through the charming streets of Chardin and Leselidze.

In the evening you return to your hotel for a rest. Afterwards, you get ready for an exciting night with dinner and a Folk Show. Your private driver takes you to the venue, where you enjoy a delicious meal and opportunity to learn more about Georgia's traditions and customs.

Discovering the Beauty of Gudauri, Ananuri & Kazbegi

After breakfast you check out from the hotel and set off on an exciting excursion with your guide and driver following the Georgian Military Road - one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the world. 

Your first stop is Ananuri, a castle complex on the Agragbi river. The fortress was built in the 17th century with an aim to control the road below, nowadays it astonishes tourists with its beautiful surroundings and the rich history visible in the architecture of the castle.

You also make a short stop at the highest village on the highway, Gudauri, which astounds you with the frosty scenery of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range.

You continue with discovering the beauty of Kazbegi and a nearby located Gergeti Church. The fascinating church is situated at an elevation of 2,170 m (7,119 ft) under Mount Kazbek, which is one of the major mountains of the Caucasus.

Note: you can trek up to the church or hire a 4x4 to take you up there for an additional cost, which should be paid on the spot.

After the tour you are transferred to a beautiful hotel at the base of Mount Kazbek for an overnight.

Tour of Mtskheta, Chacha Tasting & Churchkhela Master Class

Today after breakfast you check out from the hotel, meet with your guide and driver and set off to explore one of the oldest Georgian cities - Mtskheta. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has been the capital of the eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia for many centuries until 5th century AD.

During the tour you walk through the old town and step into the beautifully decorated Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, built in the 11th century. After exploring this ancient town, you visit a traditional local restaurant for Georgian cuisine lunch.

Following lunch you have a one-of-a-kind chacha tasting experience. The signature brandy drink of Georgia is made from pomace, left from winemaking and is usually about 40%, but can reach up to 60% if it is homemade. The drink is believed to work as a medical remedy too, so cheers!

After discovering the taste of the national Georgian drink you attend a churchkhela making master class to unveil the art of creating a delicacy the Georgians are so proud of! During the masterclass you get to make your own churckhela consisting of grape dust, flour and nuts.

After the tour you are transferred to Tbilisi hotel for check-in.

Tour to Uplistsikhe Caves and Gori

Following breakfast you meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby and set out on a 5-hour tour.

Af first you head for Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn town. The town, which is one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia, played an important role in the history of the country. During Mongol invasions Uplistsikhe was damaged and virtually abandoned in the 13th century. Nowaday fascinating rocky caves complex of Uplistsikhe is a popular destinations among tourists visiting Georgia.

After Uplistsikhe you are transferred to Gori to discover the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Born in 1879, Stalin lived in Gori until the age of 4. You visit the old wooden hut where Stalin lived with his family, which is now known as the Museum of Stalin, as well as the railway car which Stalin used to travel throughout the country. During the tour your guide tells you about the role this town played in the Soviet history.

After the tour you are taken back to your hotel in Tbilisi and have the evening at leisure.

Visits to Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries & Arrival to Yerevan

Following breakfast at the hotel you check out, meet your guide and driver and start your journey to Yerevan, Armenia with few stunning stops along the way.

You cross the border between Sadakhlo (Georgia) and Bagratashen (Armenia) and make your way to Sanahin Monastery, which dates back to the 10th century. "Sanahin" is translated from Armenian as "this one is older than that one". The name translation refers to the nearby Haghpat Monastery, which is often described as a masterpiece of religious architecture and a major center of learning in the Middle Ages.

After the tour of the two Armenian monasteries, you are transferred to Yerevan, where you check in to a downtown hotel.

  • Note: due to a road renovation, the tour of Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries may be replaced with a trip to beautiful Sevan Lake, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, with visits to Sevanavank and Haghartsin monasteries.

Yerevan City Tour & Visit to Etchmiadzin

Following breakfast at the hotel you meet your guide and driver to begin another day full of beautiful Armenian sights.

The first part of this day is dedicated to Yerevan sightseeing tour. Your guide shows you the best attractions and famous historical sites of the Armenian capital in just several hours. During the tour you visit the Matenadaran Institute of Manuscripts, a unique treasure trove housing the world’s richest collection of ancient manuscripts and books.

Later you are transferred to the spiritual center and ancient capital of Armenia - Vagharshapat to explore the cathedral and churches of Etchmiadzin and the archaeological site of Zvartnots which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour you visit the first cathedral built in Armenia and one of the oldest in the world, the famous Etchmiadzin Cathedral. You also have a chance to see with your own eyes the Saint Hripsime Church that is the finest example of classic Armenian church architecture. You end the tour of Vagharshapat by paying a visit to the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral built in the 7th century.

After the tour as the highlight of your day, you visit Ararat Brandy Factory, where you not only learn how Armenians make their signature drink but get to taste it too!

Afterwards, your driver takes you back to your hotel in Yerevan.

Visits to Armenian Monasteries & Hellenistic Garni Temple

After breakfast you continue your Armenian adventure with your guide and driver. At first you are transferred outside Yerevan to explore the Khor Virap Monastery, a famous pilgrimage site located right at the foot of a biblical Mount Ararat. Here you enjoy the most breathtaking views of Ararat Valley and the mountain.

Your next stop is the pagan temple of the early Armenian civilization in the village of Garni. This ancient temple overlooking the beautiful Azat Valley used to be a summer residence for the Armenian royal dynasties and now is a popular tourist destination. You finish today's sightseeing program with a visit to the beautiful Geghard monastery partially carved out of the adjacent mountain.

After the visit you are transferred back to your hotel in Yerevan. The rest of the day is free.

Tour of Lake Sevan, Dilijan and Orbelian's Caravanserai

In the morning you check out from Yerevan hotel, meet your guide-driver and head for Dilijan, a popular resort of Armenia located within the Dilijan National Park. The town is often called "Armenian Switzerland" by the locals due to spectacular forested mountains and valleys surrounding it. On the way to Dilijan you enjoy views of stunning Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the the Caucasus and one of the highest fresh-water lakes in the world.

After lunch you tour famous Orbelian's Caravanserai, a well-preserved guesthouse for caravans built in medieval times.

Your last destination for today is Jermuk. You arrive at your centrally-located hotel, check in and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Exploring the Highlights of Southern Armenia

Today following breakfast you meet your guide-driver and embark on a fascinating day-trip to the south of Armenia.

At first you visit the Tatev Monastery, an important historical monument dating back to the 9th century. To reach the monastery you experience a breathtaking ride via the world's "longest non-stop double track cable car", as it is called in the Guinness Book of Records (cableway length is 5,750 m or 18,865 ft).

After lunch you explore "Devil's Bridge" and natural swimming pools. Together with your guide you go up to an observation point ro see the beautiful landscape from the best angle.

The next in your list is Zorats Karer, the famous prehistoric archeological site and the world's ancient observatory.

After the tour you return back to your hotel in Jermuk.

Jermuk Surroundings & Noravank Monastery

In the morning you check out, meet your guide-driver and start your touring day by exploring the area around Jermuk.

At first you visit famous hot swimming pools located at the top of the mountain at a height of 2,500 m or 8,202 ft. Then you enjoy the view of an amazing waterfall in the gorge called «Mermaid's Hair», visit the natural hot water Mineral Gallery and the Hero's Alley.

You proceed to Noravank, a masterpiece of talented architect Momik and a popular touristic sight. On the way to Yerevan you also stop in Areni, the center of winemaking in Armenia. The small village hosts hundreds of cellars and 3 big wine factories.

Upon arrival to Yerevan you check in to the hotel and have the rest of the day free.
