Arrival to Prague

Welcome to the fairy-tale capital of the Czech Republic - Prague! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver at the airport and transferred to your neat Prague hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Prague City Tour

Following breakfast, you embark on a 4-hour voyage of discovery into the Old Town with your private guide who shows you the most magnificent city sights.

You walk the famous Royal Route, originally used for the king's coronation procession, and see the Municipal House, the Gothic Tyn Cathedral, the Cubist House at the Black Madonna and the Old Town Hall tower with its legendary Astronomical clock. Then you explore Parizska street modeled after a Parisian boulevard, Josefov area - the former Jewish ghetto, the Rudolfinum concert hall and the famous Charles Bridge with the splendid Prague Castle (no entrance included). Fee for public transport to travel between the sites with your guide is included.

After the tour, you return to your hotel. You have the evening free to enjoy Prague at leisure.

Kutna Hora Tour

In the morning you enjoy your breakfast, meet your private guide and driver at the hotel lobby and embark on a 6-hour tour to magnificent Kutna Hora.

Following a 1.5 hour ride through the beautiful Bohemian countryside, you reach the stunning town of Kutna Hora. This UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site gained excessive wealth thanks to its prosperous silver mines and became the second most important town in the Kingdom of Bohemia, after Prague.

During the tour, you see all of the key medieval and Baroque monuments, including the former central royal mint, the interior of St. Barbara’s Cathedral, as well as the nearby All Saints Ossuary (Bone Church) which is famous for its elaborate decorations made of human bones.

After the tour, you return back to Prague and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Train to Vienna

Today after breakfast you check out from your hotel and meet your private driver in the hotel lobby. Then you are transferred to the railway station to take a train to Vienna.

Explore the town of Karlovy Vary, a charming spa town, is a popular tourist destination, during your 9-hour guided tour. To reach it you are driven about 2.5 hours to the west from Prague. During the tour, you explore all the must-sees including Park Colonnade, Chateau Gate and Grandhotel Pupp, which appeared in the James Bond movie in 2006.

After about 4 hours of the train ride (1st class train tickets are included), you arrive in the European capital of music. Your private driver picks you up at the station and transfers to the hotel in the very heart of the city.

The rest of the day is free for you to either relax or start exploring glorious Vienna on your own.

Vienna Sightseeing

Following breakfast at the hotel, your guide takes you on a 3-hour walking tour through the downtown area of Vienna.

You start at the State Opera House and walk through the Kärntnerstrasse, a shopping street in the pedestrian zone of the city center, to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. You continue your walk along the Graben and the Kohlmarkt, a very exquisite shopping area, to Imperial Palace Hofburg, the former winter residence of the Habsburgs. It now houses the Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Imperial Silver Chamber, Austrian National Library and much more.

The next on your list is Ring avenue with its numerous magnificent buildings, such as the Museums of Fine Art and National History, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater, to name a few. During the tour, you also see Neuer Markt and the Capuchin monastery.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free. In the evening you can enjoy optional concert 'Sounds of Vienna'.

Enjoy world famous Vienna classical music in the very place where Johann Strauss himself used to direct his orchestra! In the evening you are invited to a fantastic music concert performed by the Salonorchester Alt Wien, one of the best-known interpreters of classical Viennese music. The event is held in the magnificent Lanner Hall of the Kursalon, built in the 1860s in Renaissance style.

Schonbrunn Palace & Vienna Woods Exploration

After breakfast your guide and driver take you on a 4-hour touring program around the most significant sites within the boundaries and in the surrounding area of Vienna.

During the tour you explore the Vienna Woods, which are the most eastern foothills of the Alps. You enjoy a stunning view over the city and Danube River from Kahlenberg, the highest hill in the city.

Then you drive through the wine area in the foot of the Vienna Woods, the town of Grinzing, and learn why Vienna is called the 'Wine-Growing Capital of the World'.

Next on your list is the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer royal residence, that gives you a historical impression of the glorious imperial times. A highlight is a guided inside visit to the showrooms of the Palace.

Trip to Krakow

Today following breakfast you check out from your hotel, meet your private driver in the hotel lobby and head for the railway station to take a 2.5-hour train to Ostrava-Svinov.

Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver who brings you to beautiful Poland, a country which has become a popular tourist destination for its medieval architecture, charming nature and delicious cuisine.

In about 2 hours you finally reach Krakow. Your driver brings you to your neat downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free, so you can start exploring the nearby attractions on your own, dine in a local restaurant or take a rest after your trip.

Krakow City Tour

Today following breakfast your guide takes you for a 3-hour panoramic walking tour around the charming Krakow. Having escaped destruction during World War II, the city retains its charming medieval shape.

Krakow life revolves around the largest square in Europe known as the Market square, where several of its architectural and cultural landmarks can be found. In the middle of the square, there is the magnificent 14th-century Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), which today hosts a market selling local artifacts and souvenirs on the ground floor. Opposite the Cloth Hall is the St. Mary's Cathedral, world famous for its altar carved by Wit Stwosz. You enter the cathedral to explore its interiors.

Then you walk along Kanonicza and Grodzka Streets, see the Collegium Maius, Jewish District of Kazimierz and magnificent Wawel Hill with a splendid 14th-century cathedral.

After the tour the rest of the day is free.

Tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine

Following breakfast, your private English-speaking driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, located about a 40-minute drive away.

  • Note: alternatively you may have a day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp. Please, inform your travel specialist, which option do you prefer.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Poland and a UNESCO-listed Heritage Site. The mine was opened in the 13th century and produced table salt until 2007, thus it is one of the world's oldest operating salt mines. The mine contains hundreds of kilometers of galleries with works of art, underground chapels and salt statues, which makes it a fascinating pilgrimage into the past.

The route for visitors covers a 3.5 km section located at a depth of 64 m to 135 m. Upon arrival to the mine, you have a group guided tour, the average duration of which is 3 hours.

On the way back you can stop at the restaurant and have some time for lunch. After the tour, you return to your Krakow hotel. The rest of the day is free.

What To Know

  • The tipping norm in Krakow is to tip around 10% of the bill, same applies to Prague. Visitors are often expected to tip 5-15% in Vienna
  • You will be walking quite a bit during your sightseeing tours, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes
  • It's always best to bring some cash in local currency for your spendings during the trip. You will need Czech Koruna for your time in Prague, Euros for Vienna and Polish Zloty for Krakow.
