Day Trip to Dresden

After breakfast at your hotel, you are met by your private driver in the hotel lobby and transferred to the train station, where you board a train to Dresden.

Upon arrival at Dresden Hbf in about 2 hours, you are met by your private guide and embark on a 3-hour walking tour of Dresden, the splendid baroque capital of Saxony. On the walking city tour you are introduced to the Altstadt (Old Town) and Neustadt quarter. You start your tour from the Altstadt, which despite being destroyed in WW2, has now regained its unique attractiveness with the architectural masterpieces being restored. Walking through the Altstadt, the center of city life, you marvel at such outstanding buildings as the Semper Opera House, Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), Dresden Cathedral and the Zwinger Palace.

You then cross the Augustus Bridge to the quarter on the right banks of the Elbe - Neustadt. Here you see the Golden Horseman, the statue of Augustus the Strong (Elector of Saxony and King of Poland), and find out how Dresden became to be known as "Florence on the Elbe". You also explore the Hauptstrasse, the Baroque quarter and artisan arcades. After the tour, we recommend spending some free time exploring the bohemian quarter - Outer Neustadt. This quarter, with its narrow streets, became the center of alternative culture in Dresden, and is full of restaurants, bars and craft-art shops.

For your convenience, your departure to Berlin is planned from the Dresden-Neustadt train station located nearby. Upon arrival to Berlin Hbf, you are met by your private driver and transferred to your hotel.

Breakfast is included.

This is the final day of your tour. Following breakfast you check out from the hotel and your driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.

We hope you are leaving with ultimate experience and bright memories and wish you a safe flight.
