Welcome to the fabulous capital of Ireland - Dublin! Upon arrival, a private driver takes you to your home-away-from-home, a centrally located hotel, where you check in and have the rest of the day free. 

After settling in the hotel, you will join your guide for a bar crawl, one of the best ways to experience the lively cultural scene in Dublin. Together you will explore the bustling streets of the city, as well as visit some authentic bars where you will have the chance to interact with the ever-friendly Irish people.

Fuel up on Irish breakfast this morning as there will be plenty to do and see around the capital city today, starting with famous attractions and colorful doors and ending with the history of Guinness.

Your highly-trained local guide will take you for a walk in the footsteps of Irish lords as you will explore century-old Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, and pass the famous Ha’penny Bridge. The renowned Trinity College Library is also on your Dublin itinerary, thus make sure to look for the famous Book of Kells!

You will then pay a visit to the remarkable Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of the St. James's Gate Brewery. Your group tour of the Storehouse will begin at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass and then make its way to the 7th floor as you will learn more about the history and the making of Guinness through various interactive experiences.

  • Note: to highlight your tour, you may add a Guinness Storehouse connoisseur experience on top.

Continue your Ireland exploration at the scenic Macreddin Village. Upon arrival, you will settle into your new hotel and enjoy some rest before a light evening walk in the nearby village of Aughrim. Did you know that it is also known as the Granite City due to a large number of buildings, built out of locally quarried Wicklow Granite?

After exploring the lovely town along with your hiking group, you will return to Macreddin Village.

Embark on an adventure along the Wicklow Way, the oldest and one of the most scenic long-distance linear walks in the country! 

The journey will start with a transfer to the amazing valley of Glendalough, the name of which translates to "the Valley of The Two Lakes". There you will soak up the views of the staggering rugged surroundings and make your way later to the 6th-century Monastic Settlement where you can explore some of the well-preserved monuments and ruined churches. 

Today's route also includes the glacier-molded valley with its two beautiful lakes, the Pollanass Waterfall and the Derrybawn Woods. The glorious views over the Glendalough Valley and the surrounding countryside will definitely leave a lasting impression as the highlights of today's hike, after which you will return to the Macreddin Village.

Hiking in the Trooperstown Forest & Paddock Hill

Today is dedicated to hiking along some breathtaking paths in the Trooperstown Forest and visiting the Paddock Hill.

After breakfast, you will take a short transfer to the enchanting Ballard Forest, where the walking adventure will begin! Today's route will take you around the evidence of a forgotten farming community and follow a winding trail up the heather-covered Trooperstown Hill. Your itinerary will provide wonderful views over the hills, the Wicklow Mountains, the Irish Sea, and the Round Tower of Glendalough.

The route will then descend into the Trooperstown Forest, over the Avonmore River, and up the Paddock Hill, where you will step back on the Wicklow Way once again. After the tour, you will be transferred to the Macreddin Village and have the evening at leisure.

  • Please, note: the hiking distance is approximately 17 km (10.5 mi), the ascent 350 m (1.050 ft).

Spend the day absorbing the unparalleled beauty of Irish sceneries and enjoy another wonderful hike in the wild. 

After a short transfer, you will start your hike in the Vale of Clara, a gorgeous nature reserve, containing the largest area of natural hardwood woodlands in Ireland. You will then enjoy a walk in the forest, followed by lunch on the banks of the Avonmore River near the charming church of Clara. 

The tour will continue with a visit to the famous Avoca Woollen Mills, where you have some time to explore the historic mill. Afterward, you will return back to your hotel in Macreddin Village.

  • Please, note: the hiking distance is approximately 9 km (5.5 mi), the ascent is 220 m (660 ft).

Start your day by traveling the picturesque trail northwards along the coast, going from Greystones to scenic Bray. The stunning coastal path will lead you to the top of Bray Head. Once there, you will have one more chance to take in the stunning beauty of the Irish Sea, the Wicklow Mountains, and Bray.

Afterward, you will head to the beautiful Powerscourt Estate, Ireland's most famous House and Gardens, and will be transferred back to Macreddin Village.
